Project description
Camperdown Compost has established itself as the premier supplier of on-farm composting solutions in Victoria’s Western District for over 15 years. In 2019, the business embarked on an ambitious project to construct a state-of-the-art industrial waste facility, capable of processing 25,000 tonnes of solids/green organics and approximately 25,000 tonnes of liquid waste for commercial compost production, effectively doubling the production capacity of the facility.
GreenCon played a crucial role in the development of this new facility. Our expertise ensured that all intricate details were carefully considered and implemented throughout the project. GreenCon managed the design and construction of several spacious and efficient structures that provide ample storage for the composting process, equipment, and materials. The shed has been customised to meet the specific needs of Camperdown Compost’s operations.
An efficient effluent system is vital for managing liquid waste. GreenCon has worked on designing and implementing an appropriate system to handle the liquid waste generated from the composting process. This system ensures proper containment, treatment, and disposal of the liquid waste, adhering to environmental regulations and minimising any potential negative impact.
Overall, GreenCon’s involvement in the design, construction, and project management of this new facility highlights our comprehensive capabilities and attention to detail. By overseeing the construction of slabs, industrial kerbs, sheds, concrete sealing, effluent systems, bunds, foundations, custom industrial solutions, and retaining walls, GreenCon has contributed significantly to the successful realisation of a state-of-the-art composting facility.
