Over late 2024 and early 2025, we partnered with Greenline on the construction of King’s College’s new $1.9 million multipurpose sports centre off Balmoral Road, Warrnambool.
The facility delivers a covered, all-weather sports arena featuring courts for netball, basketball, volleyball and tennis. The 2,500 m² playing surface is protected by an arched tensile membrane – a “Permanent Airhall” – that offers shelter while maintaining natural ventilation and year-round usability.
Our scope included early civil and site establishment works, removal of redundant fencing and aged playing surfaces, demolition of existing structures, and construction of new perimeter treatments to prepare for the sports courts installation.
A distinctive aspect of this project was its timing: construction needed to align with the school’s end-of-year exam schedule. Our team planned and delivered the works to minimise disruption to the College’s students and staff.
