We’ve always got an eye on the horizon, looking for anything that may help us be better at what we do, or things that could help enhance the industries we serve.
One of those things is the TrakRite TR 330, a machine we recently imported from the US.
Our TrakRite – fitted with a DeepGroove resurfacing drum – adds grooves to existing and new concrete flooring. Regrooving allows cows to walk with confidence on a concrete surface, helping stabilise and optimise the function of their hoofs. The grooves and surface finish maximises their hoof’s traction, help minimise lameness and reduce claw wear – all critical contributors to a cow’s health.
The TrakRite makes up part of the Save Cows network, a brand of five companies that service the hoof health industry based in America’s dairy heartland, Baraboo Wisconsin.
